Breeding Information

The Westphalian approved and licensed stallion, Prado will be standing at stud at Valeria, with collection during the spring months (March 1 - June 1), although reservations for fresh or frozen semen are taken year-round.

Valeria offers a Live Foal Guarantee (LFG) which is good for a period of one year from initial breeding date. Each shipment of semen will contain 1 or 2 doses at the discretion of the stallion manager.

Valeria does not currently offer mare care onsite; however, we do have an agreement with White Oak Farm, which is located just a few miles from our facility. White Oak is a full-service breeding facility, with a full time breeding specialist, where mares may be brought and inseminated on site (boarding arrangements for visiting mares are to be made directly with White Oak Farm).

COSTS:

Stud fee $1000
Nonrefundable booking fee of $400
Service Fee of $600** (The first collection is included in the initial service fee; additional collections incur an additional cost of $150 per collection)
Shipping costs for semen are the responsibility of the mare's owner

We:

Offer a Live Foal Guarantee (LFG)
Can ship fresh or frozen semen
Accept all major credit cards
Take reservations for semen year-round, but collection is only from March through June 1 (unless special arrangements are made with Valeria)

**A $200 discount will be given to mares who hold the premium or elite status, but proof of such status will be required.
